Ella Acrylic Walk-in Tubs are vacuum formed from a solid acrylic sheet. Under the shell is a stainless steel frame reinforced with multiple fiberglass mesh and gelcoat layers. Ella’s Transfer Walk-In Tubs main feature is the aluminum L-Shape Outward Swing Door, designed for wheelchair users and those with mobility issues. The door’s distinct shape and the engineering of the outward swing allows the door to clear a 21\” tall toilet and create a wide entry for an easy transition from wheelchair into a smooth acrylic seat. The sleek rubber handle mounted on the inside panel of the door aids in closing the door. The door is equipped with a unique gear and shaft driven, 2-latch door lock system concealed with an acrylic decorative cover. The 2-latch system creates a more secure and watertight door seal, edging out our competition who typically use a single latch/lever system.The Transfer 30 comes with our unique Ella Dual Drain Technology (DDT) consisting of two 2\” gravity driven drains with four 2\” outlets, 2 overflows and 2 openers, allowing a fast, reliable drain. The 2-Piece fast-fill faucet (16 GPM based on plumbing conditions) has: a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. The lever to control the temperature of the water is included on the mounted faucet, as well as a button that can divert the water flow between the mounted faucet and hand shower. The Heated Seat & Backrest activates to keep you comfortable while your tub fills.<p
