Additionally, the kettle features an easy-to-use push-open lid for cleaning, a removable spout filter that ensures debris-free water, and a stainless steel concealed heating element that reduces mineral build-up, meaning you’ll need to descale your kettle less often. For added convenience, the switch at the base of the kettle illuminates red when heating, and once the water boils, the switch lifts up, and the red light turns off.
